Employer Partner Strategist at Blossom Academy
Blossom Academy, a leader in education and career development, is looking for a mature, friendly, and upbeat Employer Partner Strategist to join their team in Accra. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building relationships with employer partners and creating opportunities for Blossom Academy learners in the job market. This position requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, and a proactive approach to relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employer Partnerships Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to enhance job market opportunities for learners.
- Engage Potential Employers: Identify and engage with potential employers to establish fruitful partnerships and collaborations.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, understanding their workforce needs.
- Collaboration: Work with academic departments to involve employers in curriculum development and experiential learning.
- Workshops and Training: Co-implement leadership skills workshops to support Fellows’ integration into their roles post-training.
- Industry Events: Organize and participate in industry events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote success stories and achievements of graduates.
- Negotiation and Structuring: Negotiate partnerships and internships that benefit both learners and employers.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and labor market demands to tailor partnership initiatives.
- Program Evaluation: Co-implement the monitoring, evaluation, and learning of fully executed training programs.
Job Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in employer relations, business development, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and workforce needs.
- Excellent networking, relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with educational institutions or workforce development programs is advantageous.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
